Following a cereals inspection, the report is reviewed by NIFCC to ensure that the grower meets the required standards for the Northen Ireland Farm Quality Assured Cereals Scheme. Each grower is informed in writing of the outcome of their inspection. The outcome falls into three categories as outlined below:-

1. Fully recommended - the grower meets all the requirements of the Cereals Scheme - grain storage and record keeping
   
   
2. Recommended with reservations - the grower meet the requirements for the grain store but records may require improving
   
   
3. On Hold - the grower may require improvements to the grain storage area and possibly records

The graph below illustrates the outcome of approximately 700 cereal inspections that NIFCC have carried out since April 2006 and the high percentage of scheme participants that have been fully recommended or recommended with reservations should be noted.
