Dairy Scheme
Assured Dairy Farms (ADF) sets standards for dairy producers and their holdings in order for the milk produced there to be potentially classified as ‘farm assured’. Compliance with the standards is checked by regular farm inspections by NIFCC. Only milk produced to ADF standards may be marketed as ADF assured.
Membership
The scheme is primarily a First Purchaser scheme, whereby the First Purchaser joins, pays the appropriate fees, and accepts the obligation to have their supplying producers assessed in accordance with the ADF standards and operational rules. Membership is also available to individual producer retailers and producers who by implication do not necessarily supply a first purchaser member.
NIFCC are licenced to carry out the Assured Dairy Farms Scheme administration, inspections and certification since January 2009. For further information on the ADF Scheme please select one of the areas below:
