Number of monthly suspensions from FQAS decreasing in 2006-07
The number of suspension notices issued on a monthly basis has followed a similar pattern during the previous two years. However suspension notices issued during 2006-07 have been consistently lower than during 2005-06, when compared on a monthly basis. The most commonly occurring types of non-conformance are consistently regarding veterinary medicine records. LMC have recently distributed the revised, and more user-friendly, medicines record books to FQAS members. It is anticipated that this new book will further reduce the number of non-conformances regarding veterinary medicines records and hence the number of suspensions.
