Field And Grain Records

 

Inspectors will check that all records are kept up-to-date at the time of inspection. The records required will depend on the enterprise type, please see details below:-

  1. Field Records are used to record applications of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other field treatments

  2. Equipment Cleansing Records are required for recording cleaning of combine, trailers, drier, elevators and loaders

  3. Store Sanitising Records are required if sanitisation has taken place in the grain store

  4. Grain Treatment Records are used to detail any treatments of insecticides, preservatives or other treatment made to grain while in store

  5. Grain Sales/Movement Records should be kept if grain is sold off the farm

 

Grain Passports

Any grain that is sold from a Farm Quality Assured Cereals Scheme member should be accompanied by a Grain Passport. These are issued when you are accepted as a scheme member and additional booklets can be obtained by contacting NIFCC.
