Harvesting Equipment
The inspector will ask to see any equipement used by the grower for harvesting or transporting grain. The inspector will ask about cleansing procedures that are put in place prior to harvest.
If grain is transported out of store the inspector will ask about the procedures in place to keep the load protected e.g. sheeting or loose covers.
Records of routine cleaning of harvesting equipment should be kept and the inspector will ask to see Equipment Cleansing Records.
If a contractor is used to harvest grain, details should be provided at the time of the inspection.
