Harmonised Standards for Poultry and Dairy

AFS has completed a harmonisation project to deliver a more joined up approach to the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Schemes.

AFS has completed a harmonisation project to deliver a more joined up approach to the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Schemes. From 1st April 2010, the scheme's farmers and growers have implemented standards for the first time aligned across all sectors.

To cement this more coherent approach, AFS has re-branded the standards as the 'Red Tractor Farm Assurance Scheme', underpinning the direct link to marketing of products under the Red Tractor logo.

All inspections carried out from 1st April 2010, will be against the revised Red Tractor Scheme Standards.

The Assured Chicken Production Scheme Standards have been divided into Breeder Replacement, Breeder Layers, Hatchery, Broiler and Free Range. To download a copy of these please click on the relevant link or refer to the Publications section of the website.
