Northern Ireland Food Chain Certification (NIFCC) has recently expanded its business portfolio to include the operation of the Assured British Meat (ABM) Livestock Transport Scheme

Northern Ireland Food Chain Certification (NIFCC) has recently expanded its business portfolio to include the operation of the Assured British Meat (ABM ) Livestock Transport Scheme.

Commenting on the development, Noel Lavery, NIFCC Operations Manager, said ‘Livestock transport assurance is becoming an increasingly prominent feature of the food chain which is why NIFCC has recently secured a contract with ABM to operate the Livestock Transport Scheme for cattle, sheep and pig hauliers in Northern Ireland.  

Given that NIFCC is a non-profit making company, we are confident that we can offer assurance services to livestock hauliers at very competitive rates.  Discounted membership fees are available for hauliers who are already members of the Farm Quality Assurance Schemes for Beef and Lamb or Cereals as we can reduce our costs by offering combined inspections with these Schemes.’
