Livestock Market Inspection
Inspection Interval
NIFCC carry out routine surveillance nspections to ensure that approved markets continue to meet the Product Standard. Surveillance inspections will involve a full inspection against the requirements of the ABM Product Standard. Routine surveillance inspections will take place at approximately 12 month intervals.
Inspection Scope
The market inspection covers marketing of cattle, sheep and pigs. An inspection will normally take between 2 and 3 hours depending on the market to be inspected.
