  • Procedures are in place to ensure that public access to the livestock areas is kept to a minimum



  • Notices are displayed to prevent unnecessary public access



  • Appropriate toilet and washing facilities are available for staff and the general public

  • Facilities including footbaths for cleansing and disinfecting footwear are provided at entrance and exit points to the market



  • Dogs are kept under control at all times
