Quality Assurance Assessor

JOB DETAILS
Salary circa £34,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per 5 day week Monday to Friday. Part-time 3 day week may be considered.
Duration: Permanent
Closing Date: Friday 24th July 2026
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working within specific training guidelines, the main responsibility will be to conduct farm quality assured assessments, against relevant industry standards.
- Submit comprehensive electronic report detailing audit findings.
- Plan and co-ordinate farm visits ensuring effective time and resource management.
- Based at home address, travel to/from and between assessment sites as required.
- Submit electronic timesheets weekly.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Valid, clean driving licence with cover for business usage.
- Access to a vehicle to fulfil the travel requirements of this role.
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience in one or more of the following agricultural areas – Beef and Lamb, Poultry, Dairy, Livestock Transport, Markets, Cereals OR Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience plus NVQ Level 2 or equivalent agricultural based qualification.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Computer literacy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (must be proficient in spoken and written English).
- Excellent time-management and decision-making.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
DESIRED CRITERIA
- Previous experience in an assessment/quality assurance role.
- Animal Welfare certified assessment training.
